ABOUT YOU

  • You're someone that enjoys travel and can see themselves becoming passionate about travel products.
  • To succeed in this role, strong project management skills are critical along with your ability to organise and prioritise work daily. Your topnotch communication and relationship management skills will see you confidently work cross functionally. We want a true self starter, with high energy levels and someone who thrives with tight timelines and workloads.
  • You will need passionate about marketing performance and carry digital confidence and skills, (ideally) a relevant degree and a few years of experience under your belt.
  • You'll have a strong understand of SEM, SEO & retail marketplaces alongside web/social traffic, engagement & conversion metrics.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role, with a focus on campaign management.
  • You are passionate about optimization and maximization of marketing budgets.
  • Teamwork will always be your first thought and working with others must make you happier than a seagull with a hot chip.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office suite. You have a healthy obsession for platform developments and how tech/ AI can improve marketing processes and improve our guest interactions with our brands.
  • You are a resident or citizen of New Zealand or Australia or hold an appropriate visa that enables you to live and work in New Zealand or Australia. This role is primarily office based in either Auckland, NZ or Brisbane, AU with flexible working hours available.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Planning and Strategy:


  • Develop comprehensive marketing campaign strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Tailoring campaign approach based on target audience and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with product, sales, creative teams and partners to align campaigns with seasonal product launches and promotional activities.

Content Development:


Multi-Channel Execution:


  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to optimise campaign performance.

Data Analysis and Optimization:


  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Utilise datadriven insights to optimise campaigns and improve overall marketing effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Work closely with internal teams such as sales, product development, and creative services to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with external partners and agencies as needed.

Brand Management:


  • Maintain brand consistency and integrity throughout all marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of the brand identity.

Market Trends and Innovation:


  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing.
  • Proactively identify and recommend innovative marketing strategies to stay ahead in the competitive landscape.

Reporting and Communication:


  • Provide regular updates on campaign performance and key metrics to business functions and leadership
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on campaign goals and objectives.
