About the Role:

This role sits with the Business Advisor Services (BAS) team and reports to the Client manager.

You will primarily be responsible for completing the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and other associated compliance documentation for review by the Client Manager(s) of the team.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging directly with clients to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their compliance requirements.
  • Translating and conveying complex accounting, business, and tax information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborating within a team to enhance your expertise in specialist BAS knowledge.
  • Contributing to the team's reputation in delivering specialised BAS services and advice.
  • Preparation and assistance in the creation of various management and compliance reports.

About You:


We are seeking a client-facing accountant with a knack for crafting tailored solutions that truly make a difference for each client.


To be successful, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's or higher degree in Tax, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Provisional CAANZ membership, with progress towards completing the CA program.
  • Advanced proficiency in Xero, Excel and experience using XPM.
  • Confident communication skills to engage directly with clients regarding their business requirements.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
