Description

Global Bus Ventures is New Zealand's Last complete vehicle manufacturer, building buses, coaches and specialty vehicles from the ground up in our Rolleston facility.

We are looking for an experienced storesperson to join our team and help our inward and outward goods process run efficiently.

Some key responsibilities of the role include:

• Monitoring stock levels and ordering materials and parts as needed through the purchasing team
• Assisting with creating Build Bins of parts tailored to each vehicle
• Help keep store area tidy and organised
• Process and check incoming parts and materials, organise and store parts
• Inform staff when material arrives and deliver it throughout the factory
• Unload trucks and containers
• Implementing systems to monitor stock levels and increase efficiency of stock movement
• Assisting in yearly stocktake

Personal attributes and skills we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with forklifts and ability to pass Forklift Operator Certificate
• Strong mathematic and logical thinking skills
• Exceptionally organised and motivated
• Great communication skills
• Ongoing Training such as Accredited Persons training for BioSecurity
• Optional Overtime and Saturday Shifts
• Immediate start to successful Applicants
• Predominantly indoor work

This is a full time position with start/finish times to be discussed with applicants.
Wage will be determined based on experience
Overtime may also available based on workload

• Relevant: 5 years (preferred)
