Our multinational client is a well-established high-quality supplier of inks and associated consumables to the printing industry across New Zealand.
Based in the company's head-office in South Auckland this key leadership role will have direct responsibility for all aspects of the company's commercial and local operations.
Your new leadership role will see you drive a National sales team to deliver growth in both revenue and profit.
As head of the sales team, you will drive business development efforts both directly and through the close development of your team.
You are independent, confident, strategic and able to make decisions based on detailed and objective analyses. You will also oversee local operations - warehousing, logistics and a small factory.The ideal candidate will likely have solid exposure to the printing industry - ideally the packaging sector, but we are open to other experiences.
You are driven to succeed and proactive - you like being in the field and are able to quickly establish rapport with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
You can inspire and lead people and understand accountability. Regular travel is part of the role, both within NZ and occasionally overseas.This is a terrific opportunity to join a European multinational with a reputation for excellent product quality and service.
This is a key role and will be part of the management team for the Australian and New Zealand business.
