We are seeking an Auckland based Sales Professional for a leader in Packaging solutions. A client focused role covering the North Island (predominantly Auckland).


This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a profitable portfolio of clients and sell
NZ made practical and required packaging solutions.

The markets you will look after are in Primary Foods (Meat Processing) as well as Industrial.

The Role:


  • Manage a portfolio of clients in the North Island and be responsible for the management of their everyday and future forecasted requirements.
  • Manage multilevel relationships including at stores (packaging plant) level.
  • Provide expert advice and technical knowhow.
  • Coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure your clients expectations are met.
  • Report on and analyze optimal margins.
  • Prepare forecasts and be responsible for stock management / control.
  • Deliver on service 100% of the time.

About You:

A great "can do" attitude, high energy, friendly professional communication style and plenty of initiative

  • Experienced in a similar Account Management, KAM, National or Tertiary Mgr. role, ideally in packaging, labels or other manufactured solutions. Or where you are selling products to similar client based.
  • Able to handle a fastpaced, busy environment and be confident to work independently while maintaining exceptional communication.
  • Self managing and highly motivated.
  • Confident, friendly and adaptable. Professional presentation standards.
  • Followthrough, attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
  • A quick thinker, who is intelligent and not afraid to work to very high service expectations.
  • Your computer skills including Excel must be intermediate.
  • You have a high level of numerical literacy, with the ability to understand cost analysis, forecasting etc.
  • If you have great mechanical aptitude, this would be of benefit.
  • Tertiary Education / Degree Qualified is advantageous (but experience in a similar sales environment is more important).
  • Full clean NZ DL is essential. You enjoy some outoftown travel and are flexible to do so.
