- Carry out steel and aluminum fitting
- prior experience with valves and bearings is a must
- General workshop engineering and equipment maintenance
- Adhere to and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a healthy and safe work environment
- Accurate completion of paperwork and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in the marine/shipyard environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a can-do attitude
- High work ethic and a passion for getting hands-on
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to safe working practices
- Flexibility when dealing with people and situations
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering
