Vehicle Dismantler - Christchurch, New Zealand - A2z Auto Dismantlers Limited
Description
Due to ongoing growth, we seek to fill positions for Vehicle Dismantlers to join our busy team in Christchurch.Starting pay offered from 26-30 hourly will be fixed according to the experience for 40 hours a week.
However, this will be reviewed periodically.
Any overtime will be paid as per the above pay rate.
Responsibilities:
Dismantle cars and trucks using various hand and power tools, including wrenches, sockets, grinders, and air guns.
Identify and remove all usable parts, such as engines, transmissions, wheels, doors, bumpers, and other components.
Operating forklifts and other machinery to move and lift heavy parts.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
The ideal candidates must have at least one year of experience or knowledge in dismantling and disassembling vehicles of various types, primarily cars, or auto-related experiences.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently and must be able to follow safety protocols.
We need reliable individuals who can fully commit to the job from Mondays to Saturdays.
Drug testing and police vetting are required.
