    Description
    We are currently seeking reliable, full-time Skilled Construction Workers to join our team (at least 30 hours per week).
    In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks within one specialist area, including:

    Construction and Installation:

    Undertake tasks related to carpentry, including constructing wooden structures, as well as bricklaying, floor finishing, painting, plastering, tiling, and scaffolding, as required foreach project.


    Carpentry Techniques:
    Apply carpentry techniques and tools to measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials accurately.

    Bricklaying:
    Lay bricks, blocks, or stones to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.

    Floor Finishing:
    Install, repair, or refinish various types of flooring materials, such as hardwood, laminate, tile, or carpet.

    Painting:
    Prepare surfaces and apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to protect and decorate interior and exterior surfaces.

    Plastering and Tiling:

    Apply plaster, render, or tile adhesive to surfaces and install plasterboard or tiles to create smooth and durable finishes.


    Scaffolding:
    Erect and dismantle scaffolding systems to provide safe access and support for construction workers and materials.

    Welding:

    Perform welding tasks such as joining metal components, fabricating structures, and repairing metal parts using appropriate welding techniques and equipment.


    Safety Compliance:

    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and operating tools and equipment safely.


    Quality Control:
    Maintain high standards of workmanship by paying attention to detail and following established quality standards and best practices.

    Team Collaboration:
    Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and team members to coordinate tasks, resolve issues, and achieve project goals.

    Problem Solving:
    Identify and solve construction challenges and technical issues using creative solutions and troubleshooting skills.

    Adaptability:

    Be flexible and adaptable in responding to changes in project requirements, timelines, and priorities while maintaining productivity and professionalism.


    Customer Service:
    Interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, providingexcellent customer service and representing the company positively.
    To be successful in this role, you should have:


    Minimum of three years of experience in any of the following trades: carpentry, bricklaying, floor finishing, painting, plastering, tiling, scaffolding or welding.

    Proficiency in relevant techniques, tools, and materials associated with one of the above trades.
    Must be available to work early mornings and weekends (based on work arrangement).
    Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
    Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines
    Pre-employed drug test and a Ministry of Justice check is required.
