- The role has come about due to an influx of work and increased demand in the water discipline.
- For over 100 years these experts have been providing services in the engineering, surveying, planning, urban design, GIS, land development, 3 waters and transport disciplines.
- Reporting to the Three Waters Manager (A renowned industry leader), you'll be working closely with the Three Waters Team Lead, who's renowned for her people focused management style.
- You'll be joining a team that is heavy on modelling expertise is really looking for an engineer with strong "planning" expertise and a knack for getting resource consent for complex projects. If you have modelling experience too, that would be advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Having a lead role on projects involving stormwater management plans, hydraulic modelling, engineering design, and other flood management and network projects.
- Investigation, planning and design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
- Providing technical expertise, project management and delivering solutions to the local and wider national team,
- Shaping better infrastructure for a diverse range of public and private clients across Aotearoa.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' work experience in related roles.
- Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and design of pipe and surface networks, or flood control systems.
- Experience in delivering stormwater projects: skills in Water Sensitive/Low Impact Design, hydraulic modelling, preparing Catchment/Stormwater Management Plans, or working in Three Waters/Infrastructure space are a bonus.
- Skills using or interpreting results with software such as InfoWorks ICM, MIKE DHI, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW and GIS.
- Proven experience in client relationship management and identification of opportunities is advantageous.
- Enthusiastic about sustainability, resilience, and green infrastructure.
- Tertiary qualified with a relevant degree such as a Bachelor of Engineering.
