As a result of internal development, an opening has emerged for a seasoned senior-level Business Advisory Accountant to collaborate closely with the company's Directors.
This role is ideally suited for individuals who possess the confidence to take a leading role and have a genuine passion for coaching and assisting business owners in optimising their business's effectiveness and efficiency.
About the role:

Strategic Oversight: Plan, supervise, and meticulously review compliance accounting, company and trust secretarial, tax, and administrative tasks to ensure our clients receive precise, compliant, and actionable financial insights.

Client Ownership: Assume full responsibility for accounting and tax reporting, tailored to your dedicated client portfolio, ensuring their financial well-being.

Problem-Solving Expertise: Identify and implement innovative solutions to address complex reconciliations, incomplete data, financial disclosure, taxation, and accounting system challenges.

People Management: Lead, mentor, and nurture a high-performing team.
Your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Director of Operations to effectively delegate work, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Monitoring and ensuring timekeeping and performance standards for junior team members, maintaining quality service.
- Developing the skills and potential of junior team members through onthejob experiences, training, and regular feedback.
- Conducting thorough reviews of work executed by junior team members, pinpointing inaccuracies, omissions, and clientcentric issues for immediate attention.
About you:

Supervisory Experience: Proven ability to lead and supervise teams effectively.

Proficiency in Xero and XPM: Familiarity with accounting software to streamline processes.

Client Communication Skills: Confident and direct communication with clients, addressing their business requirements effectively.
