    The

    Social Responsibility Impact Manager


    is critical in leading this process through the management of a portfolio of research alongside the management of regional monitoring and evaluation systems and processes that support football for good programmes , and facilitating the production of reports to donors and other regional and international stakeholders that outline programme impacts.


    Activities will include:


    The development and implementation of a monitoring, evaluation and learning (MERL) strategy which includes supporting country teams and developing capacity to effectively use MERL tools.

    Working alongside OFC and MA programme teams to ensure collection of quality data on the programmes.

    Analysis of data, provision of insights and evaluation of programming gaps and learning opportunities to enhance performance across social responsibility activities.

    Management of research assignments and contributing to the writing of proposals and reports and advocacy for programme results

    Further develop and coordinate a results framework and indicators to measure the contributions football makes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Pacific.

    This is a unique opportunity for a MERL/Research expert with experience in the development sector including knowledge of research methods, results-based management, data collection and statistics.

    A passion for football and sport for development is a bonus.

    You will primarily be responsible for:
    Monitoring Evaluation Research and Learning (MERL)
    MERL support to programmes
    Assist in developing strategies and approaches for capturing baseline data and delivering programme monitoring, evaluation and learning outcomes.
    Support the design, development, and delivery of MERL learning and reflection workshops with Social Responsibility teams.
    Collate and quality assure information from Social Responsibility teams to support reporting requirements.
    Document lessons learned to facilitate important programming decisions and encourage wider learning.
    Support the review of strategic plans, workplans and budgets ensuring alignment of activities, targets and financial objectives.
    Support programme reporting and communication with donors.
    Support to Social Responsibility Teams and Member Associations/Associate Members
    Support the development and implementation of Member Association monitoring, evaluation and learning strategies and plans.
    Develop training materials and implement training programmes to support capacity building on monitoring and evaluation for in-country teams.
    Present data and results to target audiences in innovative ways that influence programme improvement.
    Work closely with regional teams to ensure quality data collection and analysis for impactful reporting.
    Manage research projects, build partnerships with research institutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    Support the capacity building of teams in monitoring and evaluation techniques and processes.
    Maintain and enhance systems and structures to support effective program management and reporting.

    Skills & Experience:


    You must have a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing data, insights and MERL for programmes, preferably development or sport for development programs in the Pacific region.

    Minimum of a degree or post-graduate qualification in sport management, development, social sciences, or statistics, with a research focus.
    Demonstrated experience managing statistics, data or evaluation focused projects.
    Project management qualifications are desirable with an understanding of project design, monitoring and evaluation, and budgeting and forecasting.
    Experience in providing MERL support and/or managing programs in developing contexts and in the Pacific in particular.
    Sound knowledge and experience designing and developing programme results frameworks.
    Experience in working with multiple partners including government, inter-governmental, NGOs and sport organizations.
    An understanding of the Pacific region, with a focus on participatory processes, joint management, and gender lens.
    A professional, positive, flexible, and diplomatic response to problem solving.
    Ability to speak French would be an advantage but is not essential.
    A passion for the football industry and community activity.
