Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland based auto repair company and become a part of a great team.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts
- l repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
- l performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
- l reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
- l testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- l diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
- may inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
- Formal qualification and certificate related to motor mechanic is required OR
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in automotive mechanical & electrical and vehicle servicing/repairs
- Able to work independently as well as a team
- Working under pressure
- Be physically fit
Minimum hours per week : 30 Hours
Maximum hours per week : 40 Hours
