    Description
    The Top Energy Group operates throughout the Far North delivering geothermal electricity generation and electricity network operations.

    We are enabling Northland to contribute to the decarbonisation challenge by transforming the Top Energy Group into a technology-enabled energy company that generates and facilitates two-way energy flow between renewable energy generators and consumers.

    We are seeking to employ a Supply Chain and Inventory Supervisor to facilitate the effective operation of the stores to meet the inventory requirements of Top Energy.

    This position reports to the Procurement and Facilities Manager and is based at our Puketona Depot.

    Key areas of focus will be:
    Health and safety, especially for all stores related activities.
    Management of inventory stock levels at all locations.
    To ensure that all inventory transactions are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
    Managing the Request For Service process, including supplier quotes and purchase orders.
    Managing unique spares, including consultation with the Network and Contracting teams.
    Lead cyclical, mid-year and year end stocktakes.
    Staff management and development.


    To succeed in this role the candidate will hold a relevant qualification or have the equivalent experience in an inventory control role, as well as experience with Computerised Inventory and Purchasing systems, Cost and Budget management, and an intermediate level of computer literacy.

    It is essential to hold a current Driver Licence Class 1.

    It would be preferrable to also hold Drivers Licences 2 & 4, a forklift licence, a forklift OSH (Operator's) certificate, and have the ability to operate Stores related machinery.

    It would be an added advantage to have experience in a supervisory or management role dealing with purchasing and have some Electrical Industry Experience.
