    • Hourly rate contract 3 months
    • South Auckland

    Opportunity for a Quality Advisor with experience in the health, aged care, disability or community support sectors for a 3 month contract, with a start in the next 2-3 weeks.

    The Quality Advisor will provide advice and guidance to support the delivery of safe, effective, and tāngata and whānau-centred disability services by ensuring systems, processes, and practices meet legislative requirements and organisational quality frameworks.

    The role is responsible for assisting the Service Improvement Manager to foster a culture of continuous improvement; developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives and projects; effectively managing incidents and complaints; and developing policies and processes that comply with relevant sector standards.

    Key Areas of responsibility:

    • Providing generalist advice and complaint management
    • Policy and process updates
    • Update the incident and harm prevention reporting
    • Advice on health and disability standards

    Key experience and skills:

    • Minimum 3 years experience in an advisory role in health, aged care, disability or community support sectors
    • Relevant tertiary qualification
    • Proven expertise in quality, regulation, compliance and risk management
    • Strong analytical skills, sound judgement
    • Gap identification
    • Experienced in stakeholder engagement
    • Demonstrates a commitment to nga Tikanga me te reo Maori
