  • The Audit division of KPMG is a significant supplier of audit services to clients and audits many of New Zealand's top companies. Our auditors combine extensive knowledge of a wide variety of businesses and sectors and a fresh approach to their work that includes an enhanced audit methodology that complies with International Auditing Standards. Assignments are often managed on a multidisciplinary basis utilising the skills and experience of auditors from more than one service line._

The opportunity:


  • Exciting opportunity to join our Audit team, where you will work closely with the leadership team, supporting the operational and strategic delivery of work to our clients
  • This role has a key focus on risk and resource allocation, ensuring our Audit team is working efficiently and maximising their efficiency

Day to day you will:


  • Partner with the Audit management group to ensure that team members are optimally allocated to engagements
  • Manage requests for resource allocation using the resource planner
  • Sett up clients within KPMG internal systems and maintain entity information
  • Administer the client and engagement onboarding including collation of information and administration of risk approvals
  • You'll be encouraged to put forward ideas and suggest ways of increasing the effectiveness of systems and processes

What you will bring to our team:

  • Previous experience in a secretarial or fast paced administration role
  • You'll need a high level of attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Being proactive is key in this role and you'll also need to use your initiative to come up with solutions when required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and be confident working with all levels of staff
  • Technically savvy, with the ability to pick up new systems easily
  • You'll also be comfortable turning your hand to whatever is asked of you
