    About the role:
    This role can be based in either Auckland (airport) or Christchurch (Burnside),with a preference towards Auckland.
    As our new Senior Operational Safety Advisor, youwill be joining a close-knit supportive team full of passionate leaders ofsafety.

    This role is tasked with managing the portfolio of investigations andensuring all investigations are carried out in a robust and timely manner, as aprofessional investigative leader, utilising subject matter experts (SMEs) asappropriate and in accordance with Civil Aviation rules and Airways policies.

    Working collaboratively with the Operational SafetyManager, the role will be a coach and mentor to others in the team, take aleadership role in proactive in safety and champion continuous safetyimprovements and safety culture with Safety and Assurance, across theorganisation and the aviation industry.

    The role will also provide safety advice andsupport safety promotion activities.
    Please note this role relates to operational safetyand the prevention of aircraft accidents and incidents and is

    not a healthand safety role .

    About you:


    With a talent for conducting robust safety assessments and investigations, youwill have proven experience (5+ years) in a safety role, preferably inoperational safety as well as formal training in incident investigation.

    As an outstanding and natural communicator, youwill be an avid listener and your stakeholder relationship skills will besecond to none


    Additionally, you'll hold:
    Specialist knowledge and experience inaviation
    Exceptional organisational, analytical,research and planning skills.

    Highly beneficial:
    Experience in Quality Management.
