About The Imaging Department:

The Imaging Departments operate with cutting-edge technology and equipment, supporting a wide range of diagnostic services including X-ray, Fluroscopy, MRI, and CT.

As a new Medical Imaging Technician, you will work with a highly supportive team who will help you understand a different health system and our unique, diverse culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and compassion, ensuring patient comfort.
Maintain operational excellence of imaging equipment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members, including radiologists, to facilitate a seamless patient experience.
Contribute to the department's quality assurance efforts, aiming for the highest standards in diagnostic imaging.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of technological advancements in the field.

Requirements:

Certified Radiographer/Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) with current registration in a comparable health country.
Proven experience in a radiography or medical imaging role, ideally within a Public Hospital or fast pace practise.
Strong technical proficiency in operating imaging equipment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient care.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
