Education and Insights Manager
Play a lead role in harm prevention in the real estate sector. Oversee the education and research programmes and REA's data analysis work to identify and respond to risks and insights.

The Real Estate Authority - Te Mana Papawhenua (REA) is the independent government agency that regulates New Zealand's real estate sector to promote and protect the interests of buyers and sellers.
As part of this role, REA oversees the regulatory framework and professional development of those working in the real estate sector and provides information for people who are buying and selling property.
Mō te tūnga | About the role
- The purpose of this role is to connect research, data and information to initiatives that improve REA's regulatory impact, including leveraging education as a tool.
- The role is deeply connected to the work of the wider organisation and REA stakeholders, including licensed real estate professionals, education and data providers, advisory and consumer groups, and other public sector agencies within the property sector ecosystem.
- The role sits within REA's wider leadership group and has three direct reports: a Senior Education Advisor, a Senior Data Analyst and Insights Advisor, and a Research and Insights Advisor.
Mō koe | About you
- end-to-end mixed-methods
research projects, including briefing, proposal, design, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- adult
education and learning programmes including qualifications, continuing professional development programmes and best practice topic material development and delivery methodology.
- intelligence and insights data strategies and providing quality
data analysis to support the delivery of REA's strategy including insights on market trends and themes, regulatory drivers and risk and regulatory impacts.
- Experience in establishing and effectively maintaining collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders. Strong supplier management experience is essential.
- Experience leading a team of technical professionals across a broad mandate of work.
- Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ambitious with a "cando" attitude.
