Job summary

Are you an experienced insurance leader with a passion for driving performance, improving processes, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes?
We're seeking a motivated Claims Manager to lead our claims department and enhance operational excellence across our claims portfolios, working with a range of leading automotive and insurance partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing claims team through effective coaching, engagement, and accountability.
  • Oversee all aspects of all claims portfolios, ensuring fair, timely, and accurate outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and reporting to improve efficiency and cost control.
  • Contribute to claims system development projects, defining business requirements, supporting UAT, and identifying automation and AI integration opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Service Manager to align service standards and adopting customer service frameworks whilst inspiring teams on what fabulous service looks like.
  • Provide guidance on complex or high-value claims and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Leverage data analytics and AI-driven insights to improve decision-making, team performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience (5+ years) managing Motor and Home & Contents claims within general insurance.
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, policy coverage, and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in system development, business requirements writing, and testing.
  • Comfortable working with AI tools, digital transformation, and new technologies that enhance claims efficiency and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and customer-focused with a proactive leadership style.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
