Lecturing opportunity for experienced health professionals with a Doctoral qualification, a commitment to Te Tiriti honouring development, and a passion for research and education.

Here is your opportunity to work with an innovative and progressive team.
The term of this appointment is from 11 March 2024 to 31 July 2026

Successful applicants will actively engage facilitating delivery of the education in the undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery programmes within in a Te Tiriti honouring framework.

In addition they will be invited to contribute to supervision of postgraduate students enrolled in the Masters and Doctoral programmes.

There is an expectation that appointees will also contribute to the research culture within the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at AUT University.

The successful applicant will;

Model best clinical, teaching and research practice
Inspire and support students' achievement

- communicate effectively

Demonstrate writing skills that demonstrate linguistic sophistication

- have competent organisational and IT skills

Have a commitment to honouring te Tiriti o Waitangi

Salary Range:
$85,000 - $101,000 - pro rata (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
