About the role

  • Coordinating and assisting with stakeholder engagement, procurement and planning of project delivery
  • Varied role supporting both an officebased project delivery team as well as an operational team of park rangers and maintenance officers.
  • Fastpaced, dynamic environment with strict deadlines
  • Providing accurate administration support for meetings, functions, team events and travel
  • Generating reports for both internal and external customers
  • Relationship management across internal business units
  • Providing direction and empowerment for the horticultural apprentices particularly for their softskill development/professional development

About you
You'll have polished administrative skills to provide high-level support, with horticultural experience being an advantage.

You'll have experience working within a team who will have varying demands based on seasons and project status, and the character to respond appropriately and competently.

You'll have a high level of computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite of products, and experience using SAP. considered an advantage.

You'll show a natural initiative in resolving problems, using your creativity to think of solutions and sharing relevant information with your team.


  • Strong background in similar administration based roles
  • Experience using the MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Competent in financial system SAP
  • Confidence to mentor and coach colleagues including apprentices

  • Permanent Part Time 32 hours (days are flexible however is preferable that you can work a Monday) Metropolitan Parks
  • Permanent Fulltime Monday to Friday
