Our Client
Our client is a well-established and highly successful family owned business providing cool storage for Canterbury's food production industries.

The business operates from large, modern storage facilities in Rolleston, and a highly experienced, capable team provides market leading service levels to a wide range of clients.

The Role
The company is growing and several technology, systems and business improvement projects are underway.

Working closely with the CIO, you will be scoping, designing and coding a new Warehouse Management System that is tailored to the company's strengths, customer needs and ongoing growth.

Two external providers will work along side you to provide support for front and back-end development, and you can expect to be in a collaborative development environment as the project progresses.

The role is a good opportunity to understand and translate business goals into software development, bring ideas to the table and see your work deliver measurable benefits to customers.

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone with good sense of humour who enjoys a varied role, a proactive approach and a genuine preference for working in a collaborative team.

Good working knowledge of Agile practices, and experience in Kanban and Scrum teams are a good fit for our environment
