Job descriptionAeon Musique is a growing music education provider, and as we continue to build our classes at schools in and around Auckland, we are seeking to establish and further expand our team of music teachers.
Right now, we are seeking a piano tutor to take on existing classes at primary schools in Sandringham. This part-time role will see you on the move as you lead classes at different schools, both during the day and after school.
Your ability to relate to all children of different ages and capabilities is of utmost importance to us as you will be teaching students from year 1 through to year 13. We want to ensure that all our students thrive and enjoy their classes, and that really does come down to the excellent calibre of our teachers.
As this is a position that requires music training and knowledge, a Grade 8 qualification or equivalent knowledge is preferred.
Hourly rates are determined by your teaching experience and knowledge. We expect to pay upwards of $40+ per hour for the right music teacher.
We are intending to expand our programmes into the weekends and holidays too, so if you have an interest to be part of our team piloting these programmes - we would love to hear from you.
