The Opportunity:
We're looking for a Submissions Coordinator to support our tendering team, based in Richmond on a 4-6 month contract in a full-time.
This fast-paced and diverse role will see you working closely with the Submissions Manager to assist in coordinating EOIs and tenders for the Southern Construction Region - VIC & TAS.
This is an excellent time to join our Pre-Contracts team as we are actively pursuing a range of opportunities for clients, such as: Major Road Projects Victoria, VicRoads, Yarra Trams, Melbourne Airport, Level Crossing Removal Project, Department of State Growth to name a few.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordination of EOI and tender submissions, making sure they are answered to a high quality and to deadline;
- Working with the bid team to develop tender submission timetable;
- Using Microsoft Word templates to set up tender response documentation for the bid team;
- Collating information, obtaining graphics and assisting the team with technical writing;
- Formatting of documents to a high standard in both Word and design packages;
- Maintaining an organised folder system;
- Ad hoc administration duties (as required).
About You:
- 3+ years' experience working in a tender/bid submissions role (ideally in the civil engineering/construction industry) with demonstrated experience in writing and/or collating content for EOI and tender submissions;
- Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Word and a good working knowledge of other software programs such as InDesign and Photoshop;
- A strong sense of urgency and ability to work towards deadlines;
- Strong attention to detail and high quality standards of work;
- A confident communicator who can articulate themselves clearly, coupled with the ability to proof read and correct grammatical mistakes.
