We are looking for two Thai Cooks to join our team.

Requirements

At least 3 years of related work experience, OR
At least NZ Register Level 4 qualification may substitute for the experience (overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR
National Skill Standard Assessment Certificate Thai Cook Level 1

And

Knowledge of Thai food ingredients
Knowledge of Thai food cooking techniques

Job Description

Designing menus, projecting food and labor expenses, and procuring food provisions
Supervising the quality of dishes throughout the preparation and serving process
Engaging in discussions regarding food preparation matters with a Manager
Demonstrating culinary techniques and offering guidance on cooking methodologies
Preparation and cooking of food items
Explaining and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards
Possibly recruiting and training staff
Potentially overseeing the freezing and preservation of food items

Other Details

This is a full-time and permanent position.
Wage payment is $29.66 per hour, and you will be paid weekly.
Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law.
You will be working at 150 Bank Street, Regent, Whangarei 0112.

We are open for lunch on Wednesday to Sunday from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm and dinner on Wednesday to Monday from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

You will work according to a roster - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours).
