About the role


As our digital growth story continues, we are looking for an experienced Data and Analytics Manager to lead and champion the integrity and use of data at Metlifecare.

Reporting to the CIO, you will work collaboratively internally and cross functionally to deliver global best practice data architecture and platforms and drive the company's adoption of business intelligence, leading data quality, literacy and governance programs work.


Based in our Newmarket Support Office we support a hybrid working model where you will have the opportunity to mix your environment up.


Key accountabilities will include:


  • Enable consistent data reporting across the BI environment and all end to end reporting solutions, ensuring consistency and availability across all platforms.
  • Promote and introduce a framework to maintain high standards for data management including data profiling, data quality, and master data management.
  • Acting as an advocate of change across the business in the journey to becoming a data driven organisation
  • Advisor to executives and board in defining and agreeing on business priorities as related to data.
  • Manage all aspects of the data warehouse including architecture, support, maintenance, upgrades, and jobs.
  • Take a leading role in developing data & analytics across the organisation, including data governance, development, and documentation of key metrics, and driving the data & analytics road map.
  • Improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability, and value.
  • Discovering opportunities that can use data to grow the top line revenue of the business and create efficiencies.

About you


With at least five years in a leadership role, you have solid technical comprehension of the bigger picture with strong strategic and communication skills to enable you to promote, advocate and educate around data principles.

You will be an exceptional leader and coach of your team and promote passion, energy and excitement, continuing to develop a culture of delivery and trusted outcomes.
