As we continue to evolve and modernise our technology landscape, we're looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the next chapter of our Business Support Systems ("BSS") transformation journey.

This is a pivotal, senior architecture role with real influence. You'll guide strategy, govern change, and design solutions that enable our business to move faster, smarter, and more securely.

As our Enterprise Architect – BSS, you'll lead the definition and governance of Kordia's target BSS architecture, ensuring every architectural decision aligns with business strategy, product direction, and investment priorities.

You'll drive the cohesive and strategic evolution of our BSS platforms, reducing complexity, fragmentation and technical debt while enabling digital transformation at scale.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on architectural design. You'll shape the roadmap, govern change, mentor others, and influence senior stakeholders through clear storytelling and data-driven insight

Ko tō mahi - What you'll be doing

• Act as the authority for BSS architecture decisions, governing BSS change initiatives to ensure alignment with target architecture, enterprise standards, and risk expectations.
• Set and evolve the BSS architecture roadmap in line with business and digital strategy.
• Simplify and strengthen the BSS ecosystem by reducing platform fragmentation and technical debt, and maximising the value of Kordia's investment in core platforms.
• Provide hands-on solution design and oversight across integrations, cloud enablement, APIs and core telco processes.
• Strengthen BSS data architecture, improving data flows, quality, and accessibility to support analytics, automation, reporting, and customer experience.
• Embed architecture principles and mentor teams to support architectural capability, consistency, and alignment across the BSS domain.
• Partner with senior leaders, product, operations and vendors to translate strategy into clear technology pathways.
• Foster a pragmatic interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies, identifying low risk opportunities to enhance BSS processes and user experience

Na tōu rourou - What you will bring

You're a seasoned enterprise or solution architect with deep senior-level experience operating across complex, integrated enterprise environments. You're comfortable balancing long term architectural strategy with pragmatic delivery and have the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and govern change with confidence.

You bring significant experience across BSS ecosystems, such as CRM, ITSM, ERP, HRIS, Billing and integration platforms, as well as:

• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, TM Forum) and architecture governance practices.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures, modern integration patterns, APIs and event-driven architecture.
• The ability to design hands-on and review partner/internal solutions with authority.
• Solid understanding of data concepts including data flows, data quality, and structured operational data design.
• A collaborative mindset and enjoyment of mentoring and developing architectural capability in others.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Curiosity about AI, automation and emerging technologies.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Dynamics 365, SAP, M365 or exposure to telecommunications will be advantageous.
