Our client based Auckland is currently looking for individuals to join our team as a Kitchen Helper / Cafe Worker .

Minimum 30+ hours/week
Multiple Positions available.

Responsibilities :
Help completing basic food preparation tasks
Preparing and helping chefs and cook in other basic cooking activities Requirements.
Portioning food placing it on plates and adding gravies sauces and garnishes
Clean and maintain high hygiene standards in kitchens food preparation areas and sculleries.
Cleaning Kitchen and food preparation area plates and other cooking utensils
Storing raw food materials like flour spices vegetables etc.

Packing take away orders


Job Requirements:
1 year experience in a kitchen environment would be preferable.
We will give you a full training.
Strong organisational skills to assist in cook/chefs.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as a part of team.
Flexibility to adapt to the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good communication and understanding skills.
A 'can do' attitude to perform duties.
Handling sorting and distributing food items as directed by the head chef.
Ensuring the kitchen is clean and sanitary at all times.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Willing to work till 10 AM to 10 PM & Weekends must.

Availability during late night closing Weekends Public Holidays and during Christmas and New Years Break
