We're looking for
someone with
Excellence in leadership and a desire
to be influential, including a relevant
professional qualification and
experience.

An appreciation and understanding
of people, with well-developed
networks and relationships within
your local Māori community.

A background in supporting Māori
engagement and development.

A track record of success as a work
generator, with a good market profile
and business development focus.

Excellent verbal and written
communication skills in both Te Reo
Māori and English to enable you to
work and liaise with a broad range of
people / clients including iwi, hapū,
colleagues, clients, stakeholders, and
other external consultants.

The ability to effectively prioritise,
allocate, and manage your time/
resources.

A strong commitment to quality
environmental and cultural
outcomes.

Experience working within the
Resource Management Act/planning,
cultural or landscape design, and/or
environmental science/mātauranga
Māori fields.

We have a national team of dedicated Kaiarataki - Strategic Advisors who
ground Boffa Miskell's methodologies and processes, empowering our
people and clients to engage with Te Ao Māori.

At the foundation of our Te Hīhiri discipline are three pou matua (focus

areas):

Te Pae Tata:
The kaiarataki role and approach is to develop Te Hīhiri as
the number one trusted advisor for iwi, hapū and Māori organisations for
who need access to our specialist planning, design and ecological services
services. In addition, we provide cultural engagement and strategic advice
to councils, government agencies and the private sector.

Te Pae Tawhiti:
Provide effective internal business support to all Boffa
Miskell disciplines to facilitate and ensure cultural engagement within key
projects with key clients.

Te Pae Roa:
Help create a strong organisational culture and brand that
celebrates diversity and the unique cultural heritage of Boffa Miskell,
Aotearoa and our office locations.

We are now looking for others to join our team based in our Tāmaki
Makaurau, Kirikiriroa, Poneke or Ōtautahi offices.

service areas (for example, Landscape Architecture, Planning, Ecology,
Engagement), this is not essential. There is the possibility of tailoring roles
(for example, someone with an interest and experience in engagement
may then spend less time focussed on building our internal capability).
