WARNAKULASURIYA NICHOLES DELEEPA ASANKA FERNANDO is looking for TWO Courier Drivers to work on a minimum of 30 Hours a week in a full-time permanent position based in Auckland, WARNAKULASURIYA NICHOLES DELEEPA ASANKA FERNANDO provides delivery services to Post Haste, New Zealand.

This is a fast-paced role with unlimited learning each day.


Our Courier Driver will perform following duties but not limited to:

• Delivering parcels, ensuring they're delivered safely
• On your feet for the full and busy shift, lifting up to 25KG
• Use of handheld scanners to log information
• Loading, transporting and delivering items in a safe and timely manner.
• Loading and unloading items from vehicles
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions and escalating any complaints from clients
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries

- keeping & maintaining records of items received and delivered
- assisting with receipting inward mail, checking wrongly addressed, missorted, undelivered and redirected mail, and processing Freepost and underpaid mail
- sorting and sequencing items for delivery


What we expect:

• Valid Class 1 driver's license or a valid international driving license to drive in New Zealand
• Knowledge of the Auckland area is advantageous.
• Preferred holding a Dangerous Goods License to drive a Courier Van
• Physically fit, able to lift parcels safely
• Computer literate to use scanner technology and track deliveries as required
• Experience in the logistics industry will be preferred but not mandatory.
• Good Communication Skills
• Good Team member with Cando approach
• Strong work ethic, to work well within a team
• Able to work on weekends, and public Holidays.
• Able to pass drug tests on any random day.
• Must not have any serious driving conviction.

Must be NON SMOKER.

• Able to work on rotational roster with early start (4:30 AM) and/or late finish (5:30 PM) according to the workload.
