We are a small engineering and hydraulic business looking for another skilled staff member to add to the team.

We have both traditional engineering work and specialized hose and hydraulic work come in the door each week and are looking for either an allrounder ready to hit the floor running or a specialist who would be interested in diversification.

Being a small team means that everyone works together to carry the work, meaning being on call, overtime opportunities and prioritizing communication.

Experience / Skills :
Experience in Fitting / Mechanical Background and / or Hydraulics
An enthusiasm and drive to learn new skills
Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
Good numeracy, verbal, computer, and written skills
Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and problem solve
A clear understanding of Health & Safety and Safe Work Practices
A current Driver's License
A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
Flexibility with working hours as after-hours availability
Right to work in NZ Required
Competitive payrate will be based on skills and experience then scaled overtime with performance and tenure.
