The opportunity:

This role focuses on providing a high level of catering services to guests and staff, ensuring that the area is run as efficiently and effectively as possible.
This role works closely with other Catering staff, Reception, Operations Manager and other general staff, including external business clients.

Day to day you will:

General kitchen duties ensure dishes are washed in a timely manner, kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Assist the chefs in the preparation of cooking of food, as required.
Floor kitchen duties delivering fruit, milk to staff floors, keeping staff kitchens clean and tidy.
Meeting room set up set up for all meetings, breakfast, morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas and evening functions as required by staff, including all food and dishes.
Food and Beverage service receive beverage orders, prepare accordingly and deliver to meetings as required, including barista coffee.

Health and Safety

To maintain a high standard of hygiene, food delivery and discipline in the kitchen.
Stock levels make sure appropriate stock levels of food and drink are maintained and assist with ordering stock from suppliers.
Any other duties as required to fulfil that nature of the position.
