MECA - Registered Nurse Step 4-7 (depending on experience)
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to cover 8 months parental leave. This role requires an enthusiastic and motivated nurse interested in gaining additional skills in a nurse led environment.

We work across Children - s clinics, Kenepuru child health with 3-4 shifts a month in Wahi Tamariki Zone.(paediatric Emergency department).

In this role you will learn venipuncture and cannulation alongside endocrine and allergy nurse procedures.

Medical treatments, tests and investigations for both Chronic complex patients and new short term patients are performed at wellington and Kenepuru sites.

Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
We are a small team working alongside the wider Child health team working across 2 bases. A variety of work is performed and rotation across the work areas provides an enjoyable mix of work.

We work closely with the paediatric medical and surgical teams, allied health and community nurses and paediatric specialties in the New Children - s hospital.

Moū - About you
You will be an experienced paediatric nurse and looking to build on your skill base. This area requires rotation across 2 sites so flexibility and enthusiasm for a variety of work is needed. The role is Monday to Friday no nights or weekends.
