We are seeking an experienced practice nurse or nurse prescriber to join our team to provide primary health and wellbeing care to Wintec students and staff.
This is a part time position.
- The role works primarily to deliver safe, effective patient centred care utilising evidence based/best practice nursing standards and efficient use of resources
- To act as client advocate in maximising access to health care and improved health outcomes
- Incorporating RN prescriber role into consultations where applicable
He kōrero mōu| About you
- Prior experience working in a primary health care setting.
- Be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Have a current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Current Level 4 or above CPR, independent vaccinator, and smear taker certificate.
- Are computer literate with experience in Medtech PMS and MS Office
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and professional development
- Contribute towards equitable outcomes
- Be flexible, adaptable and thrive in a busy team.
