Our customer is a National supplier of process instrumentation for a wide range of industries such as Food & Dairy, Water/wastewater, petrochemical and Chemical.

The range of services also include Gas Detection, Customised Panels, Engineering services, field commissioning and maintenance.

We are in the look out for a Sales Support Engineer to assist customers by dealing with complex issues and concerns, resolving them using their technical expertise.

This role will be responsible for ensuring the customer requests, inquiries and set ups are completed accurately and timely while maintain a primary focus Operational excellence.

Key Duties:
Complete RFP responses with technical specs for project hardware, specially for the O&G/energy sector.
Prepare cost estimates and scheduling for plan and spec instrumentation projects.
Use CRM to document activities of customer issues from start to resolution.
Maintain strong communication link with potential and existing customers and keep records in CRM database.
Review the customer requests for proposals and establish requirements for the interval team and external suppliers.
Effective communication with direct sales force and manufacturer representatives.
Assist with quoting and follow up with customers and project status.

In order to be successfull, you will ideally need:

Bachelor of science in electrical /electronics /mechanical /automation /Industrial or related field.
at least 2 years of experience in Technical sales, business development or sales support roles.
Excellent verbal and phone manners
Excellent written skills
Comprehensive computer skills (CRM, MS Outlook)
Experience in oil and gas / geothermal industries is preferred but not essential.
