    Madison Recruitment is partnering exclusively with the largest and fastest-growing accommodation provider in New Zealand, with 43 properties across NZ & Fiji, to recruit a Franchise Commercial Manager position located on Auckland's North Shore.

    This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a people-focused organization with full training provided.

    About the Role:

    The Franchise Commercial Manager will ideally come from a Property or Legal background and report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The role supports commercial business objectives by utilizing proven systems, policies, and procedures related to the organization and its franchise locations, specifically:

    • To ensure they are seen as 'tenant of choice' in the minds of decision-makers for landlords and other property stakeholders in New Zealand, through proactive support of franchisees and their obligations and rights pursuant to their lease.
    • Manage the franchise renewal and sale process.
    • Support compliance of franchise locations.
    • Oversee and support franchisees with their approved maintenance and upkeep programs.
    • Coordinate commissioning of new buildings with development teams.
    • Instruct and manage key advisors on legal and valuation matters.
    • Update and report to the COO and other stakeholders regularly.

    About You:

    • Background: A background in Property or Legal is ideal due to the substantial property contract work involved.
    • Relationship Management: Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
    • Franchise Management: Proven experience in Franchise Management, Compliance, and handling multi-site accounts.
    • Organized & Proactive: You will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities efficiently.
    • Autonomous: Independent with the ability to self-manage and self-motivate.
    • Culture Fit: A people-oriented organization that values genuine connections and integrity.

    This role is based in a highly desirable part of Auckland's North Shore with parking available. An annual bonus scheme is included on top of the base salary.

    Please note, this is a 5-day in-office role requiring close collaboration with the wider team.
