Java Software Engineer
Are you a Java Software Engineer looking to embed yourself within a kiwi-born organization, who truly puts employees first? Are you getting sick of the CBD traffic and looking for something a bit different? Then look no further

Here at Kiwiplan, we provide industry-specific software solutions to the corrugated, folding carton and paper packing manufacturers worldwide.

Due to our growth, we are looking for multiple Java Software Engineers to join our team based in East Tamaki.

What you'll do

Building and supporting internal tools to help support the teams to deliver the range of products that we offer to our clients.
Designing software which fulfills our client's requirements, while ensuring that the user interaction is simple, attractive and intuitive.
Ensuring that the software developed have a minimum number of defects and that the code is easily understood.
Collaborating with other development and testing teams to ensure that the clients needs are met and delivered to.

What we are looking for
-
Intermediate role: - 5 years of expert knowledge working in Java programming language, platform and development environment.

Senior role: At least 5 + years of expert knowledge working in Java programming language, platform and development environment.

Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Maven, SQL
Strong unit testing and objectoriented analysis and design skills.
Exposure to distributed architecture development (Web Services etc.)
Have a strong problemsolving ability
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, break tasks down into appropriate units of work and successfully deliver milestones
Experience of working within an Agile environment.
It would be advantageous if you have experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and ReactJS.
