    Description

    We are seeking an intelligent, energetic, New Zealand qualified law graduate who is empathetic to migrant clients, yet assertive, focused, and motivated to deliver high-quality legal work that adds value to New Zealand's migration programme.

    A specialist New Zealand immigration law firm based in Hamilton, we are offering a full-time role as a Graduate / Staff Solicitor (junior to intermediate level). Full training and support will be provided to help you develop strong expertise in immigration law and policy.

    Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

    Reports to: Director



    Key Responsibilities

    • Liaise with potential clients and conduct interviews with a strong focus on client engagement
    • Communicate effectively via telephone and written correspondence
    • Accurately prepare and lodge visa applications (both electronically and on paper)
    • Research immigration law and draft high-quality legal arguments
    • Prepare a wide range of legal documents, including applications, cover letters, affidavits, appeals, and memoranda
    • Stay updated on key developments in New Zealand immigration law and policy
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of website and marketing content

    • Hold a law degree from a New Zealand university
