We are on the lookout for 2 motivated and committed individuals to join our team in the position of Cafe Assistants for our business in New Plymouth.

We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week with a pay rate between $28 - $31p/h.
You will need to work according to the roster and need to be available on weekends.

Our business operates from 6:30am to 6:30pm, 7 days a week, so your flexibility to work early, long and weekend shifts is a must.

Your tasks include:
Determining customer requirements and advising on available range and price
Accepting payment by cas and EFTPOS
Assisting with the ongoing management of stock such as product inventories and participating in stock-takings
Stacking and displaying products for sale, and wrapping and packing goods sold
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff
Following and completing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks given.
Cleaning includes everything that is part of the business
Cleaning includes vacuuming, mopping and cleaning of the cafe area
Staff/customer toilet cleanings are part of daily tasks
Must follow opening/closing store procedures


Skills and experience required:
Need to be mature person, committed to hard work and dedication to the job is all that is needed to excel
Minimum of 6 months cafe environment experience is required
No qualification is required

For the shortlisted candidates, a 2-hour trial is required to determine your suitability for the position
