    The Opportunity:


    Here's a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Transport & Logistics professional to join the team as Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in the smooth functioning of our clients' transport and quarry operations.

    This role is perfect for a dynamic leader passionate about driving operational excellence, ensuring safety, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


    What You'll Be Doing:
    Overseeing daily operations, including transportation, aggregates, sand, topsoil, and cleanfill.

    Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

    Optimising operational performance and productivity.

    Leading HR management, including hiring, training, and performance management.

    Managing the fleet, liaising with suppliers, and nurturing key customer relationships.

    Skills & Experience:
    Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the transport or construction industry.

    Strong leadership skills and HR management experience.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with software systems like WIZ and Xero.

    Relevant licenses (Full NZ Driver's License, Wheels, Tracks, Rollers, Class 2 & 4).
