The Information, Data and Analytics Group here at RBNZ are looking for an experienced Data Quality Test Analyst to join their team in a fixed term role until June 2025.

Te tūranga – The role

The Information, Data and Analytics Group is responsible for setting bank-wide information and data strategy, policy, developing processes for the collection, storage, manipulation, and dissemination of data to support evidence-based decision-making across the RBNZ.

As the Data Quality Assurance Test Analyst your role is to design and execute a variety of testing services to ensure that our data platform deliveries are robust, reliable and meet customer needs.

You will work closely with the team members to evolve the testing practice with the appropriate frameworks and tools, and consistently apply these to your work.

Ō pūkenga – About you
To be successful in one of these roles you'll have:3 or more years of manual testing experience

2 or more years of automated testing experience

Experience building testing for data and analytics platforms

Comprehensive experience executing the full array of manual and automated tests across complex environments.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to solve problems in a logical, methodical manner.

Enthusiastic, with a demonstrated appetite for self-driven learning and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Agile and DevOps

Being an effective communicator and relationship manager, credible and influential in dealing with business and technology stakeholders

Translating technical information into business relevant concepts
