    At Burrito Craft Wanaka, we're looking for a Cook/Kitchen Assistant who is committed to being part of our close-knit team for the long haul, not just seasonally. You'll be an essential part of delivering fresh, delicious Mexican street food to our community and visitors in the stunning Wanaka area.     Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Prepping fresh food daily, ensuring efficiency and quality
    • Cooking and serving food during busy lunch/dinner shifts
    • Ensuring stock rotation and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
    • Handling orders and performing stock takes
    • Keeping health and safety standards up to code

    You'll need:

    • At least 6 months of cooking and prepping experience in a commercial kitchen
    • A strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude
    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a small team
    • A passion for Mexican street food and food trucks
    • Valid NZ working rights

    About Burrito Craft:

    Burrito Craft is a beloved Mexican food truck based in the picturesque town of Wanaka, South Island. Since 2015, we've been serving up fresh, flavour-packed burritos to locals and tourists alike. We're growing, and we need a dedicated, long-term team member to help us keep the momentum going.

    Operating 7 days a week (12pm-8.30pm), we serve delicious Mexican street food with a personal touch, and we want someone who's just as passionate about our food and customers as we are.
