An outstanding civil contracting firm seeks a highly motivated Site Engineer to work on structures and marine projects around the Auckland Region.

This is an opening not to be missed if you are keen to build your project management expertise and experience, working closely with senior professionals and learning the skills to advance into Project Engineer or Project Manager roles.

With a very well-regarded team of industry experts in their business, this firm takes on some of the most technically complex and challenging projects being built and consistently delivers results for their clients.

They are currently seeking to appoint a Site Engineer to initially work on a marina project starting in a few weeks time and running for at least 6 months.

Operating in the marine environment brings another level of planning, consents, coordination and technical challenges than most construction jobs.

The remuneration on offer will be up to a base salary of $100k dependant on the skills and experience you bring.

A full personal use ute will be provided as part of the package and you will have an industry-leading 6 weeks annual leave.

To be successful, you'll have between 2 and 5 years experience in civil construction projects and be capable of managing crews, subbies, ensuring compliance and method statements are adhered to and assisting the PE with planning, diaries and costs.

Structures or marine experience is an advantage, but what the company is really looking for is a great attitude, a driven and personable character and the demonstrated ability to work hard and go above expectations.

A medium sized construction business, they have a full workload for the next financial year and the following year is already 60% booked also.

Longevity is not an issue here
