An exciting opportunity for a solid Project Manager to join a great contractor.
Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR)

are picking up some excellent opportunities even during a slightly lumpy 2024. We now require a project manager to work on projects in Christchurch.

This client has a solid construction history which has lead to an increase in projects on the books, and with that have developed a need for a solid project manager who could be looking for that next opportunity.

The immediate focus for this role will be to work on some existing projects in the South Island, with future potential to delve into other projects throughout the area.

The Role
The need is for a Project Manager who can manage projects in the $5 - $25 million range.

The ideal candidate will be a presentable project manager who is comfortable and natural at liaising with site teams and various stakeholders, while ensuring that the client is aware of project process and progression.

Duties
Ensure that deadlines during the construction process are met
Continue the companies stellar reputation with health and safety
Manage and show leadership to stakeholders and wider team members
Maintain the high performance, customer focused culture has produced not just great results, but the right results
Skills and Experience

• 10 years experience in Project Management

Completion of a relevant tertiary degree and/or relevant industry experience
Experience of mentoring and developing site staff
Excellent communication skills at all levels
A high level of proficiency with IT and related software packages.
