About the role:


The key responsibilities of the Compliance and Assurance Advisor role include coordinating activities for the Compliance Risk and Assurance Committee, ensuring quality of company business systems, staying updated on industry best practices, developing aligned policies and procedures, monitoring changes in legislation and standards, coordinating internal self-assessment programs, maintaining audit programs, facilitating corporate surveys, monitoring and analyzing departmental activities, distributing relevant communications, processing departmental records, facilitating key HSE pre-qualification activities, and providing cross-training support to the HSE NZ Support Team.


Skills & experience:


  • A tertiary qualification in quality management is preferred.
  • National Certificate/Diploma (or equivalent) in Health, Safety and Environmental is preferred.
  • Technical industry knowledge/background is preferred.
  • Understanding of risk and quality management systems.
  • Competence in relevant software and database programs.
  • High level of oral and written communication skills.
  • Sound organisation and planning skills.
  • Logical and lateral problemsolving ability.
  • Knowledge of current regulatory, client and industry requirements.
