    As a Senior Social Work Lead, you will play a vital role in guiding our team of social workers and youth mentors.     • Lead and supervise the Kaihāpai Rangatahi team.
    • Promote safe practice and professional development with a focus on mana-enhancing methods.

    • Prepare reporting for our external supporters that fund our mahi
    • Be visible and network with our communities and stakeholder groups
    • Manage and ensure the team is meeting all contractual obligations

    What we are looking for | Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu

    • A recognized social work qualification with current SWRB registration or immediate eligibility requirements already met.
    • Capability in handling complex social needs, with a background in Māori social/health issues being advantageous.
    • Strong relationship management skills with an ability to influence effectively.
    • High self-motivation, organization, confidence, and the capacity to work under pressure.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain diverse stakeholder relationships.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
    • A history of professional discretion and humility.
    • Experience in people leadership and kaimahi performance management.
    • Competence in co-design, negotiation, planning, and delivering innovative services.
    • Deep understanding of and commitment to te reo Māori and tikanga.
    • Experience in project development and implementation.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Established networks within the South Auckland area.
