Te Whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity


We seek a colleague to teach into the online Master of Public Policy, to coordinate online and on-campus dissertation enrolments and examinations, and to supervise MPP and PhD dissertations and theses in Public Policy.

Enrolments in Public Policy continue to grow, and to support the online programme, and the increased demand for postgraduate supervision, we seek a Lecturer with relevant skills and experience.

An appointment will be made at the Lecturer level.
This is a permanent, full-time (40 hours pw) position.
The salary is $91,328 - $109,099 dependent on skills and experience.

Our cosmopolitan School staff include specialists engaged with research and creative projects in New Zealand and around the world. To be considered for this position, you will have the following:

  • PhD in Public Policy or cognate discipline or transdisciplinary area (which may include, but is not limited to, Politics, Māori Studies, Indigenous Studies, Pacific Studies, Political Economy, Sociology, Law, Public Administration, Economics).
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and supervision
