Production Manager - Auckland, New Zealand - Reliable Screen Supply
Description
Key Responsibilities:
Provide documentation and support to stakeholders, project managers, working groups, and Obeliskprojects and management team
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of project scope, escalation processes, and industry best practices
Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure projects delivery success
Clarify projects priorities, identify, and escalate issues that cannot be internally resolved
Maintain quality control systems to ensure the acceptability of finished goods and prevent the manufacturing or delivery of non-conforming products
ensure timely delivery of completed components to project locations
oversee detailed documentation and review reports
Ensure that resources and equipment are available as needed
Facilitate clear communication among team members and lead day-to-day production requirements
keep internal department workflow and tracking documents up to date
What you need to be successful in this role:
Problem-solving with a "can do attitude" and able to think outside of the box
Proven experience in production coordination or a similar role
Strong understanding of project management principles and industry best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Due to requirements from specific market segments in NZ and overseas suppliers, able to communicate in mandarin would be a huge advantage
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
ability to work effectively and efficiently on high demand during high season
A sound knowledge of New Zealand Health and Safety or industry relevant Health and Safety processes
