Opportunity with CMW Geosciences

Our team in
South Auckland (Wiri) is looking to hire an experienced Civil Engineer or Geotechnical Engineer who has good project management experience.

You will be undertaking site investigations, construction monitoring, ensuring the projects are running on schedule and within budget and providing detailed geotechnical reports with the support of other CMW personnel.

Furthermore you will:

Work with the technical team to develop, provide and promote technical solutions, options and initiatives to meet client needs
Monitor project progress against budget to ensure cost overruns are avoided
Prepare for and undertake fieldwork including derivation of engineering geological and geotechnical ground models
Prepare proposals, technical documents and other correspondence
Ensure the timely delivery of technical output
Some of the sectors you will be involved include:_
Infrastructure road, rail & water
Renewable energy projects
Variety of land development projects

To be eligible we are looking for the following:

Qualified Civil Engineer/Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist
You will have at least 3+ years of experience working for a tier 1 or tier 2 civil contractor and/or consulting engineering business
Have experience working on large and medium sized civil infrastructure projects in New Zealand
Having good report writing experience would be looked upon favorably
Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are a must
A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must
Must hold a
valid drivers license & have experience driving a 4x4 Ute
