We are seeking a proactive and customer-centric person with a passion for sales to join our expanding team and take charge of maximising sales outcomes through collaborative efforts with our Field Sales Team and strategic marketing activities.

    Was established in 1982 as an industrial textiles manufacturing and distribution company.

    Over the last 40 years, we have developed a reputation for providing top quality products to the Civil Construction and Infrastructure sectors, to residential customers and to trades nationally and now internationally.

    Our brands are Cirtex Industries Ltd (New Zealand), Cirtex Industries Pty Ltd (Australia) and Strol Ltd.

    Due to business expansion a vacancy has been created within our office based sales team.
    The Role

    This fast-paced office-based sales role sits within a wider team of customer centric people that support the Cirtex group.

    In this role you will be provided with ample opportunity to bring your existing skills and experience to the forefront whilst we grow and develop your technical/product knowledge.

    You will enjoy the best of both worlds with having a sales role based in our Thames office, without the need for extensive travel to meet with customers.

    Your customer interactions will be via phone, email, and through Live Chat. No two days will be the same
    Responsibilities

    Customer Engagement Excellence:
    Be the frontline ambassador of our company, providing prompt, professional, and courteous assistance to customers through inbound calls. Your dedication to excellence will strengthen and maintain customer loyalty while ensuring high feedback scores.

    Proposal Development:
    Craft compelling proposals and quotes tailored to customer needs, showcasing our solutions and value propositions effectively. Your ability to communicate technical information clearly and persuasively will be instrumental in securing new business opportunities.

    Timely Action Management:


    Ensure all ad hoc requests and activities related to projects are addressed promptly and effectively within agreed timeframes, demonstrating your commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

    This role will include the performance of tasks such as:
    Achieving sales through converting inbound leads
    Proposal and quote preparation
    Responding to inbound phone calls and assisting customers with technical requirements

    Determining the quantities of materials, resources, or components required for a construction project based on information provided in project plans.

    Proactively working with other Cirtex teams to consistently achieve sales goals and targets and develop, strengthen and maintain customer loyalty and feedback scores
    Sending information / quotations to customers as required

    Qualifications and Experience

    Our ideal candidate is someone that has:
    A genuine passion for serving customers and for creating value at every opportunity
    Previous experience in sales support or customer service roles, preferably within the infrastructure or construction industry
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office (essential). Experience with project management tools would be an advantage but is not essential
    A proactive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    Prior experience in the building or civil industry would be welcome but is not necessary.
